"Blood, Sweat + Vinyl: DIY in the 21st Century" è un documentario sulla scena post hardcore americana.
Attraverso riprese dal vivo, interviste e focus artistici raccolti in ben cinque anni, il regista Kenneth Thomas si concentra su tre etichette di punta del genere: Neurot Recordings (etichetta formata dai Neurosis), Hydra Head (di Aaron Turner chitarrista cantante degli Isis) e Constellation Records... etichette in perenne bilico tra distribuzione indipendente ed attitudine DiY (autoproduzione).
Succulenta la lista dei gruppi coinvolti: Neurosis, Isis, Pelican, Cave-In, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Jesu, Grails, Oxbow eccetera eccetera

Il documentario esce in confezione deluxe con due dvd (uno col documentario ed uno con i concerti dei gruppi coinvolti) e libretto informativo sui gruppi stessi, il tutto acquistabile presso il sito ufficiale:
